Mikaela was born in 1984. The actress has Italian and Iranian roots. She was born in Colbert and was raised in the city. The year 2000 was when, at age 2, she began dancing classes. Later, she participated in school performances. As a child she was able to be seen in advertisements for local businesses. After graduating from the theatre programme at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, she joined Loyola Marymount University in USA to pursue her studies. The first time she was seen, Mikaela appeared in the 2007 movie 'Frank. Then, she appeared as one of the main actors in the movie 'Sorority Forever. She then portrayed the part in the movie 'Humanzee', following an audition with James Gunn. She then starred as the lead actor in Peter Safran's as well as James Gunn's X-Box Show Sparky & Mikaela. Hoover first made an appearance in American movies in 2010, where she starred in the movie "How I Met Your Mother. Hoover also appeared in the film Super, that was directed by the famed movie director James Gunn.
